Surprise Proposal

If I could choose one word to describe this evening it would be HAPPINESS. True happiness overflowed from these two incredible human beings and it was a joy to be able to hide behind a little fountain in the bushes and capture this moment for them!
I waited in anticipation as I received a “15 minute warning” from Camden knowing they were headed to the spot. I crouched down behind this little fountain popping my head up every few seconds to see if they were coming. After a few groupings of people walked on by, I spotted them headed towards the spot Camden had picked out, the Wildflower Meadow at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens.
A little backstory for those who don’t know, but Ashley had requested a photographer when it came time for Camden to get down on one knee and pop the question. When they had arrived, Ashley had asked him, “Is Kristi here?” and Camden had replied, “No.”
Fast forward to this moment, Ashley was swept off of her feet, literally and figuratively by becoming engaged! After celebrating, Camden had pointed out that I was hiding in the bushes. Laughter began, chills came over me and happy tears flowed.
Thank you Camden for allowing me to be a part of this amazing, sweet, adorable, surprise of a proposal! And to you Ashley, you are going to be one incredibly gorgeous bride! Cheers to romance!
