As many of my bride and grooms have had to alter, postpone or cancel their wedding day, Carol Anne and Brant did not let current circumstances hinder their love story from beginning. There were several changes in venues and at the end of the day, they wanted to say I Do no matter where it was. An intimate backyard wedding, with their closest friends and family, was the sweetest place to wed for these two!
After the cake was cut and toasts were made, we made our way to Downtown Norfolk, where the well noted Freemason Street resides. Lined with cobblestone roads and architecture dating back to the late 1700’s, it made for a beautiful backdrop. The bride was very eager for the newlywed portraits after the reception. I absolutely adore when my couples are just as passionate about portraits as I am!
We walked the cobblestone streets and made our way towards the water docked with sailboats. It was then that they shared the story of how he asked her out on the very same bench we walked to. What a sweet memory made and to capture their wedding day at the very same bench it all began at! What a sweet and tender love these two have! It was a pleasure to capture the two of them becoming one!
